This workshop is geared for the interested public as well as folks who might like to try bee keeping as a hobby or business. The Instructor, Leslie McBean is based in Bruce Crossing, MI with his business White Birch Apiary. You may have seen his honey and candles in local stores. Leslie will talk about a year in the life of a beekeeper and will cover getting started, bee keeping equipment, the latest in beekeeping news, the different races of queens and their characteristics, making comb honey, and other topics. Join us for this informative workshop and support Leslie by buying some local honey!
